About the Mana Kai

The Mana Kai is located in the southern town of Kihei Maui and adjacent to the beautiful Keawakapu Beach. This area is well known for all types of water sports including snorkeling, paddleboarding and swimming.

The Mana Kai offers one and two bedroom ocean view condos available for rent. Amenities include a fitness center, yoga studio, outdoor barbeques and a heated pool and spa. Each condo feature a fully equipment kitchen and private lanai.

Kihei offers plenty of options for dining out, shopping and fun things to do. The Haleakala volcano is a great nearby day trip. Turtle town is a famous snorkeling area located just to the south. Makena and Big Beach are just down the road. For shoppers, The Shops at Wailea are conveniently located with brand name outlet stores and there are several casual dining opportunities.

Kihei Weather

Kihei is located on the drier, western side of Maui and has some of the best weather in Maui. High temperatures are mild throughout the year ranging from highs in the 70s and 80s and lows in the 60s and 70s. Rarely does it ever get above 90 degrees or below 60.

Since Kihei sits in between two mountains, this area is usually very windy. Winds blow from land to sea and this results in smaller wind waves than on the north side of the island.

The most rain occurs between December and April. During the summer and fall, light afternoon showers are common but don’t last long and are just enough to cool things down a bit.

Tropical storms and hurricanes can impact the area but rarely is there a direct hit due to the protective action of the Big Island of Hawaii located southwest of Maui.
