About St John
St John is a beautiful tropical paradise location in the United States Virgin Islands. The island offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, outdoor adventure, and relaxation. St John is about 20 square miles in size and largely undeveloped. This preservation is due to the protection of the Virgin Islands National Park put in place by President Roosevelt. Overall 60% of the island is a protected land area. St John USVI is an ideal destination for those who love warm weather tropical vacations without the crowds. The island takes a little work to get to. It doesn’t have an airport. Visitors must arrive in St Thomas and take a boat to reach the island.
The weather in St John is Tropical. Spring, fall and winter are warm and pleasant. Summers are humid and hot with a constant threat of hurricanes between June and October.
While is rains throughout the year, most of the rainfall occurs between May and November.
The ocean water temperature is some of the nicest that you will find anywhere in the world. It ranges from about 80 degress in the winter to about 85 in the summer. Not too and and not too cold.
