About the Caribbean
The Caribbean is a large area from south of Mexico, east of Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica, continuing east towards Jamaica and Puerto Rico and all the way south to just north of Venezuela.
The US and England both own islands in the area that are very popular tourist destination. For example, the United States Virgin islands consists of St John, St Thomas and St Croix. The British Virgin islands are made up of over 50 small islands with the largest and most popular being Virgin Gorda, Tortola, Anegada and Jost Van Dyke.
St Maarten is owned by two countries, the Netherlands and France. Each country owns two different areas on the island.
